Big news for retrogamers. Mitchell was ultimately far less likeable than Steve Wiebe, but I couldn't help but admire his gaming ability.

Legit Pac Man world champ and Kong expert. No idea why he felt the need to throw it all away, to fake a record on DK that he could easily have set on a proper arcade board.
Other than the fact that he's a massive penis.

Dan: massive penis indeed. Gray: I don't usually do schadenfreude, but I'm making an exception.
Having watched it again, "King of Kong" feels like a very different film now. Mitchell's cowardice, connivance and narcissism are laid absolutely bare for all to see, and the hold that he had over Walter Day, Brian Kuh and his little band of acolytes is akin to that of an abusive partner. Utter control freak and unpleasant human being, through and through.

Woah. This is eye-opening. A long watch, but there are a lot of claims made about the integrity not only of Mitchell but Day, Wiebe, and everyone involved in "King of Kong" including Seth Gordon, the director who has gone on to bigger and better things.
