The Wedding Present - Once More https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbxCtAb ... Ro&index=6

This spent several years in my top 3 tunes of all time in the late 80s, swapping with Promised Land by Skeletal Family for the coveted second place behind Blue Monday. With hindsight, this one wins.

Had that as a single but, as teenagers do, I left it on the floor and me mum trod on it whilst vacuuming. She also took care of Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile the same way. Bleedin parents, So unfair...

Ne Roger Waters song, Smell the Roses. Honestly, it sounds like it's cobbled together from a dozen Pink Floyd songs from the 70's. It would've been a throw away 25 years ago, but what the hell, he's in his mid 70's so I'll cut him some slack.

The album version of this track popped up on the old random shuffle up today, so, in its honour, a live version, replete with preposterous headgear.

Gong - who else? - I Never Glid Before

Anyone see this lot play live? OFT?

Yeh, guilty  around 73 at Friars Aylesbury, from memory I think Pink Fairies were on the bill but failed to arrive. Saw Steve Hillage a few times later in the 70s.
They released a new album toward the end of last year, about a year or so after Daevid Allen died, in typical Gong style they called it Rejoice , I'm Dead

Ngoooooong yes saw them too. Admit to falling asleep during Bruford's drum solo, but the little sketches between Allen and Bloomdido Bad- de- Grasse were funny

The Caretaker - The Way Ahead Feels Lonely

The ending track from The Caretaker's brilliant latest album Everywhere At The End Of Time - Stage 2, haunting stuff.
