...which everyone seemed to have around that time. Even recall some of the lyrics Indian Ropeman flexes his eye..

Used to get compilation albums at times because it was too easy to fall into having a Led Zep/Jethro Tull completist mindset. Mojo magazine used to do good 'yearly' ones but I sort of gave up listening early 2000's. Apart from links on here!

Richie Havens original is a good listen too, just not a floor filler like Julie & Brian!

My kids have recently become obsessed by this tune. I hated it back in the day, now it seems a lot less offensive. While listening to it as their bedtime song, I amuse myself with the thought that there is a parallel universe where John Lennon didn't die, and he and McCartney are arguing on Twitter about which one of them wrote this:
