Record Store Day vinyl!
I actually feel the majority of RSD releases are smoke & mirrors and have no genuine case for being issued in some self indulgent vinyl orgy. This however, is gem of a compilation - as are the majority of History of Soul releases - containing some tracks I can only dream of ever finding on 45's let alone afford!

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now
I suppose there's a fine dividing line in music between what you like and what you don't but I thought that was dreadful.
Edit That's perhaps a little unfair, as I'd not heard it (or much of them) before.

No problem, OFT. We all have different tastes. You didn't know the song & it was live which is always an acquired taste, being a different experience from studio versions.OFT wrote:I've just edited my post mate sorry to be so blunt,
I only knew them from 'Calling All The Heroes', which was ok but when I rediscovered them, found out I'd missed out on seeing one of the best live bands, EVER.
Unfortunately, most of the late 80's record buying public felt the same as you, metal prog/pop being one of those 'difficult' genres!
I love 'em!
