Yeah, it's on PAN, one of my favourite labels. Not sure what I think of the album itself though. It's ten times stranger than the cover!

I like that record. Was it you or proph alleging that all Raf's songs sound the same a few pages back?
I'm currently playing that DJ Lilocox ep you posted about a while back. Good stuff.

Abul Mogard - Circular Forms
I just bought this as I had somehow overlooked it in my rush to acquire everything Mogardian, and fabulous it is too. As well as kumb favourite Works, I really like his split releases with Maurizio Bianchi and Harmonious Thelonius. And according to an email I just got from boomkat, he has a new album out in a couple of weeks too. Praise be to Abul, whoever you really are.

I think prophet may have been the guilty party in the case of Rafael. As for the Paz & Amor EP, yeah it's lovely bit of tribal house sort of stuff.Korea Hammer wrote:I like that record. Was it you or proph alleging that all Raf's songs sound the same a few pages back?

Fantastic news. Off the top of my head Works came in at something like 8th on the KUMB album of the year list? Maybe this year we'll be seeing old Abul move up a few places. Top 5, we can dream. As for right now, Ian Pooley and Alec Empire's Pulse Code EP from '94.Korea Hammer wrote:I just bought this as I had somehow overlooked it in my rush to acquire everything Mogardian, and fabulous it is too. On its release a lot of people were a bit miffed. I think it has certainly grown on the masses now....
