Grand Prix Driver Amazon Video.

Behind the scenes look at the fall and fall of McLaren in F1.
It begins at the start of the 2017 season and just goes downhill from there......

Half decent so far and based on a true story (from the podcasts of the same name) about a women (Connie Britton - yum yum) who falls for the wrong type of guy. A very similar thing happened to my MIL so most of it rings true with the Mrs.

Will probably finish it tonight - the joy of back operation recovery.
Watched this from start to finish, yesterday.

I thought it was bloody brilliant, highly recommend.

He's done several, btw; the one about Viet Nam, which, of course, included everything that could not be used in the Civil War, such as veterans' recollections, moving images etc, won awards and might be the best documentary series ever made.

Well worth looking out for, if you're into your history...
It's on my ' To Watch ' list then I forget that I even had a list - , I sometimes forget I even subscribe to Netflix - now I can access Netflix through my Sky box I really should get round to watching Ken Burns' ' Vietnam ' .

As for ' Best Documentary ' - have you ever watched ' The World At War ' narrated by Sir Laurence Olivier , a series from the '70s ?

I thought this too. The characters do take a little while to develop. The character of Eric was very hackneyed and annoying to begin with but he has one of the most interesting episodes later on actually and it was great to see his relationship with his dad explored.

I can't square the mash up of time periods and cultures in Sex Education.

Is it the 80s, 90s, 2000s, now?

Fyre was brilliant. It was totally obvious to us that it would never work out, but the collapse was epic!

I thought Wild Wild Country was a little bit padded out in terms of its last episode. A bit more editing, would have made a great 4 or 5 hour series...

Watched this a couple of days ago, terrific doc. Hilarious and alarming. Ineptitude level +99.

Image
“Billy called and said, 'Andy, we need you to take one big thing for the team,' And I said, 'Oh my gosh, I’ve been taking something for the team every day.'

“He said, ‘Well, you’re our wonderful gay leader and we need you to go down, will you suck dick to fix this water problem?’ And I said, ‘Billy, what?’ And he said, ‘Andy, if you will go down and suck Cunningham’s dick, who is the head of customs, and get him to clear all of the containers with water, you will save this festival.'... Can you imagine, in my 30 years of career that this was what I was going to do? I was going to do that, honestly, to save the festival.”

Have to give a nod to Ken Burns.

As P.M.says, you don't realise you are just watching a series of talking heads and carefully edited still picture, as the narrative is so riveting.

The Dust Bowl doc.is my fav. brings Grapes of Wrath into context.

Medal of Honor on Netflix is very good, an eight part series covering some of the recipients and telling their stories. I haven't finished it yet but as a stand out episode five about Vito Bertoldo is quite unbelievable and episode three (Edward Carter) is very good too.

I haven't seen this, but I'm pretty sure 99% of the people who say they believe in a flat earth are just trolling for giggles. It's just the latest internet in-joke.

(The other 1% are Sheffield United fans)

Saw this and wondered why it didn't get as much attention as that Felix bloke, seemed the whole world was watching him, where this just seemed to be a few google geeks doing it for the shits and giggles.
