Re: Little things that irritate you
I've never noticed anything major falling out my arse, but thats not to say it hasn't.
I'll keep an eye out for that next time.

Egg sandwiches.
Why would you want to eat something that smells of farts?

^ agreed, unless it smelled like my own farts, i wouldn't.
on a similar note, all the salad bags with some carrots in them smell like vomit.

quote="fjthegrey"]I favour diclofenac. The pain relief and none of the 'Harry Kaned' out side effects.
My GP has taken me off diclofenic as it can cause heart problems. This is an extract from drugs.com
Diclofenac may increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke, especially if you use it long term or have heart disease.

I am fine on it for the first 24hrs then the world falls out of my arse and I have to stop taking it[/quote]FreeWheeling wrote:[Saying that, I'm not taking anything for it at the moment.

All those hard pain killers probably give you grief in some area over a period of time I reckon HD.
I have a supply that I use very sparingly in extreme cases of discomfort. Would never drop it regularly.

True, but my GP specifically took me off diclofenic which I only used occasionally, and he has now put me on Naproxen instead which has exactly the same warning!fjthegrey wrote:All those hard pain killers probably give you grief in some area over a period of time I reckon HD.

Re: Little things that irritate you
Both Diclofenac & Naproxen are anti-inflammatory drugs as far as I'm aware.
I'm currently taking 5 different types of tablet 3/4 times a day (including Naproxen) for what's been diagnosed as Spinal Stenosis (lumbar). Which is slightly more than a little thing that's annoying me right now.
Diazepam is the nuts for a good nights sleep, by the way.

People talking on their phones on the bus, so loud that you can hear it through your headphones. Engineers who I occasionally have lectures with who seem to lack any sense of basic mannerisms or hygiene. John Terry. Adults on scooters like you used to have when you were 9.

A few people I know constantly watch depressing news channels where most of the stories are death and destruction. I always wonder why nobody hasn't started a "Good News Channel" which just has stories about fluffy kittens and bunnies etc. It irks me that that doesn't exist.

The profiling on my new mobile phone. At the advertising banners on KUMB are for single ladies or travel companions or now for Middle East ladies wanting a companion.
The only thing I can think of where the phone thinks I am a lady chaser if from visiting the girls thread in the snug!

Re: Little things that irritate you
you're not supposed to take diclofenac with any sort of indigestion / stomach acid tablets with ranatadin in them. This will give you severe stomach cramps & arse issues.FreeWheeling wrote:

Because good news is irritating in a world where most people have to deal with **** in one way or another
People much prefer to read about people who are worse off than them

Recruitment consultants.
Often find.they are the sort who have an approach that involves that type of talking/shouting as someone has once told them this is how to appear confident and dynamic when you have zero competence
It's just ****ing annoying when you're sitting 4 tables away having a coffee and all you can hear is this stupid woman's utterly inane, valueless points being made to a client, whom I'd imagine would prefer it remained confidential.
