It seems the word "though" is now being used as a term of disapproval e.g. "them shoes, though?", meaning "I really don't like those shoes, do you agree with me?"
Semantics and grammar on social media really irritate me.

Going through the entire autumn and winter without so much as a sniffle, then having to endure a journey on a packed tube which has resulted in a streaming headcold, sporting a nose today of which Rudolph would be proud. Perhaps those Chinese women you see wearing masks have the right idea.

Re: Little things that irritate you
Kid next door is attempting to learn to play the Oboe. Outside. When I am sitting in my garden. For 6 weeks running. She also purposely does stupid things to get our Dogs to bark.
May have to get revenge by turning my Ibanez/Marshall combo up to Eleven and play some thrash metal. When they keep us all awake with yet another of their poncey "dinner parties" that last until 3AM.
Absolute ****ers.

Re: Little things that irritate you
Packaging that is quite simply not fit for purpose.
Exhibit A:
Bacon packets with the little tabbed corner, that just comes off in your hand and never actually results in the film peeling off. So you cut down the side with a knife, and then when you try to peel the film back from there, half of it comes off in your hand because the bit with the label is stronger than the plain film. Now I come to think of it, shouldn't bacon packets be resealable by now?
Exhibit B:
Sauce sachets. The bane of my life. I swear more than half of them are simply unopenable - especially when you're eating food like burgers or chips and you've got greasy fingers. Terrible design, terrible invention and I hate places that have them instead of bottled sauces.

Re: Little things that irritate you
So, went out the back ten days ago, back door blew shut, I jump on the five foot wall between me and next door. Swing legs over, jump down with both feet, and left heel lands on golf ball sized stone.
Double fracture of left hip.. The other legs been US since 93,. This could take a long, long time.

You are Andy Carroll and I claim my £5!
Seriously though that sounds like a real bugger, all the best with recovery.
