3.25 Epsom - Resurge 10/1 ew
Great course record, great record fresh. I won loads on him in previous races at Epsom.
Can't believe his price is so high. Paying 4 places must have a very good chance of getting a payout.

That's because I'm a genuis and they are running scared. :lol:psychoscoredthelot wrote:resurge is 13/2 now on skybet
I'm on at 10/1 with Stan James ew.
I'd still back him at 7/1 for the win, although the ew bet was a steal....

Course form counts for a lot at Epsom.
1.45 Fair value 6/1

Re: Official Betting Thread
Horses run completely different on the cambers of Epsom than anywhere else.
Can be really deceiving with form later in the season.
BILR is right about course experience being key. Low draw also handy.

I usually accept my losses with a shrug of the shoulders, but that jockey rode a shocker.Bend it like Repka wrote:3.25 Epsom - Resurge 10/1 ew

I won't write something libellous, but that horse was never given a chance of winning. I've stood at Epsom and cheered it on to win twice, and it came from midfield at worst and was clear with over a furlong to go.
From stall 6 he placed it last and coming off the bend it was still last. He gave the leaders 20 lengths start and tried to come round the whole field up the camber in the last 2+ furlongs which even Derby winners can't do. Finished 15 lengths behind cantering over the line.
****.
Lost me plenty and made me look silly to boot. Not impressed.

Re: Official Betting Thread
BILR i dont agree.
I watched the race although only the once.
It looked like the horse did not break well and didnt have the pace. This meant the horse then had to sit in at the back of the field.
He couldn't go round the outside as this would of lost alot of ground so just sat in behind and that was the race finished - no point in going all guns blazing.
However may be one to watch for next time out.

3.50 Charles Molson has been tipped up on another forum at 4/1. Already down to 3/1 5/2 in places and expected to go off shorter. Do as you will with it.

Re: Official Betting Thread
I did watch the race again after you posted this. It was slow away but in 8 furlongs I think he could have tried to make up some positions, I've seen plently of jockeys manage it. Coming round the bend in last the whole field went wide when they started their runs, he had a clean passage down teh inside by went wider still, he was almost over on the far rail.k-r-c wrote:BILR i dont agree.

Anyway, all about opinions..

Absolutely gutted.Thought AP gave him a great ride and I was literally "seeing" my WH account getting a rather hefty deposit added to it.Even 2 out I could only see one winner but alas it was to be Burton Port.Oh well,at least I DID do it each way (9/1) so I won a little bit.Hammersfaniow wrote:Shudda gone each way, bugger
