I was wondering, when it comes to a Lucky 15 or Yankee or whatever, is that a duffer? If I'm betting really small, is it worth scaling my bets - maybe going heavier on an acca, a little less on trebles, less than that on doubles etc rather than putting the same stake on every bet. Is there a tactic worth following?

im assuming this will be the best place to ask,

does anyone know of any websites where you can download the latest football fixtures with the latest odds for different markets in possibly .csv format, or something that can then be opened in excel?

i am fully aware there is a developer api for betfair and a couple of other bettings sites, but i don't want to invest quite a bit of time writing something if what i am looking for has already been done and available...

Horses for tomorrow
1.30 Warwick - IT'S A STEAL
2.30 Warwick - HANDSOME BUDDY e/w

Football on Saturday
Us and Villa win double returns £93 from a tenner on Betfair. WBA have only got 1 point from the last 5 games and they also possess the 2nd worst home record in the league this season. Villa are on an unbeaten run since Benteke returned and they should also be getting Vlaar back. Villa also have the 6th best away record this season in the league. Villa seem overpriced at 13/5. That said WBA gave us a good run for our money but the facts above speak for themselves.

Us to win. We've scored twice as many goals as Sunderland. We're in form, Sakho is back and had an extremely impressive 2nd half performance the other day IMO. Carroll has just scored 2 so his confidence will be up too. Sunderland have only won 1/8 home games this season. Can get us at 8/5 on Betfair.

Points above taken from tips on bettingkingdom.co.uk but the tipsters on there are pretty good and the facts he has said look spot on.

Qarabag v inter Milan tonight k/o 5pm
Inter are 9/4 just for the win
I know they will be resting players as they have won the group but surely a weakened team would still be better than a team that sounds like it's from a Harry Potter film

Exeter are 5/4 to win on Saturday at home to Carlisle. (Bet Victor)

Exeter are unbeaten in 8 and have won 8 of their last 13.
Carlisle have lost 7 of 9 away games.

Value.

Think a win + btts double on Arsenal and Man City is a good bet.

Also think Burnley or draw would be decent.

I actually think Liverpool at EVS to beat Bournemouth in 90 mins looks decent.

They will be desperate for the win and actually looked decent at Old Trafford (I'm assuming Bournemouth wont have a GK of De Gea's quality).

This is a great shout. I think [?] Rodgers tends to not take the League Cup seriously but it could well be their only chance of European qualification next season, and being at this stage of the League Cup means it's a good opportunity for some silverware which may be a job-saver.

I know Bournemouth have apparently been playing some nice football in the Championship but whatever way you look at it, they are still worse than the likes of Leicester, Burnley, Hull etc. Forget about Liverpool's last game which was up against an outstanding goalkeeper as well as one of the Man Utd goals being well offside, and their form against English clubs reads WWD so not disastrous. Factor in the expectation that Liverpool will improve a bit as the season goes on and I think EVS is outstanding value.

edit post-game - Well done!!!
