Probably Back us -1 when the handicap is released, might even go for over 3.5 and perhaps over 4.5 depending on the odds. I can't see past us scoring at least 3, and blackpool are more than capable of scoring too.
Stan James have our handicap -1 @ 100/30 very generous imho

Waiting for the handicap betting to become available on Paddy. Had a play around and a West Ham 3-1 & Chelsea double pays £1400 from a £20 stake.

A west ham Chelsea double pays between 7 and 8/1 Or a west ham -1 Chelsea -1 double pays 42/1

William hill are always best for different types of handicap bets and are usually the first to put up odds as well

Chelsea don't have many defenders so attack is the best form of defence They will either win comfortably or get totally smashed But for £100 the double returns just under £4500 not a bad outside bet for the weekend

Am I missing something here shouldn't it be -1.5? If chelsea win by 1 do you still lose your money as it is a draw on the handicap?

Well, if you're betting for Chelsea to win and they draw, then you don't win

You make one slight mistake and it bloody lives with you forever What I meant was if you back chelsea -1 and chelsea win by 1 goal then on the handicap is that a draw and you lose your money? If so then to win your bet chelsea have to win by 2 goals. Surely -1.5 is better as it takes the draw out of it and will be a slightly better price.

Yeah, that's exactly it... You back -1, you need Chelsea to win by 2 goals. If they win by 1 goal, it's a draw, as per normal. It's why the bookies keep it that way; it not only adds a little confusion (to some ), but keeps the price in favour.

My confusion (thanks by the way) is that bet365 offer the -1.5 so reading this thread I have always wondered why anyone would take the -1. Maybe they are just confused For example Bayern Munich -1 pays 2.350 Bayern Munich -1.5 pays 3.10 Why would anyone take the 1st bet?

3.10 Fontwell - Sire Collonges. Class above the field, should not lose. 6/4.
Duke of York Stakes, 3.00 York - Mayson. Running very well and jockey described him as "vastly mproved" from his 3 year old form. Northern trainer loves a winner at York. 7/2.
