HaHa me too!!! I was hoping the rumours last night were true as a couple if grand would be a nice windfall
Who'd have funk it was hodgson that got the job!
Anyways klinsman is still 3rd favourite right now and very rarely does the front runner get the job straight off so I'm still happy with my investment for the time being and to me klinsman is the one that makes the most sense
Thinking about laying moyes at evens???

Bet 365 have given me another £5 free bet......

Got to say, despite long ball Oatcaker Peter Coates owning the place they are pretty generous with their free bets.

Serious question.

Aren't corner markets a horrible bet of chance. More like the spin of a jackpot machine than any real resemblence of skill or thought involved in making the bet. How do you do it ?

I think I've done one corner market in my whole life, think it was +10 (for one team) in the whole match. I lost. My theory was, I had backed the team who were likely to attack more and who had two wingers who were likely to get crosses deflected off full backs for corners, They reached a grand total of 6 corners.....

I felt helpless through the whole bet, much more so than just backing win/draw/loss etc or even +1 markets etc. I watched the entire match through the prism of corners and had TOTALLY disliked the experience.....

Simple answer is, England defend very deep and throw their bodies into blocks often, this, coupled with the fact that Frnace have tricky players who will get shots away and (I thought) boss the whole game in England's half created for me, a positive spin on the chance of corners for France. The 'race to 9' odds were 11/2 for France. I liked those odds and took them. I had croatia race to 9 corners the other night against ireland for essentially the same reasons, they were around 6/1 which was very good odds IMO. Shame it finished 8-1 to Croatia, but i was still happy with the play.

Corners are a bet I lik because they keep me interested in the game, but there's no value in the over/under 10/11 corners @ around evens that you'll get normally. But race to 7/race to 9 can be good.

Oh, and i've still got Jurgen too

unless of course it's for a large wedge when you're pretty certain.

For instance, Liverpool vs Chelsea FA cup final, GUARENTEED under 11 corners. I had £200 @ evens which was nice. I think there was only 3 corners after an hour, ended on about 8 or 9.

hard to call. I'm only betting on it because i'm an addict.

I've gone for Holland @ 2/1, they created so much against the Danes and I just have a feeling that they might find their shooting boots tonight, but everything I touch is turning to utter **** at the moment so backing Germany is probably a very good shout

Won £28 on the Portugal game, so withdrew £18 and banged the other £2 on Heitinga first scorer @ 40/1

Was very tempted to have a Portugal Germany double today @ 3/1 but so far this tournament I'm about £500 down
So just opted for Portugal to go in my 5 team accy spread over three days
Portugal
Italy
Spain
France
England
£100 @ just under 17/1
