Today i bumped into...

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

My dad spoke briefly today with Sam Byam at Roding Valley hospital today. He told me Sam was walking around on crutches.

My mate told me the other day that Keith Gillespie picks up his daught from the school he works in, near Romford.

Phil Thompson in a restaurant in Tenerife last week, not once but two nights in a row in 2 different resorts.

The second time I met him in the toilet and spoke a bit with him.

He seemed very down to earth and a nice enough bloke.

Graham Gooch & Pat Jennings, Jennings still has very good hair, I suggested he get in touch with L'Oreal as money to be made, his look to me suggested he probably wouldn't.

Warren Ellis from the Bad Seeds, shopping in Brighton. Not A-list, maybe, but it made my day. He's a lot shorter than I thought.

Anybody have any idea where he lives? Not that I want to stalk him nor have his full address, but I am convinced he got on my bus at North Greenwich in the small hours a few weeks ago, looking slightly worse for wear, and got off at Anchor and Hope Lane by Charlton Station.

Sensibility dictates that a loaded footballer wouldn't be getting on a bus, but it looked so much like him. But then again, they use other forms of public transport, so why not?
