I've also met Ronnie O'Sullivan. I met him in the Jack Horner pub down Tottenham Court Rd.
Nice bloke. Shame he told me he's L'arse though...

He used to live down my road a couple of years ago. I was sitting outside a pub once and he came and sat at the next table. A mate and I got up to go to the bar and I turned to my mate and said 'I see that **** Justin Lee Collins is here'. My mate says nothing and just looked over my shoulder so slowly I turned to see him standing there . Still think he's a **** though!hammersgirl7573 wrote:Then in work (for those who don't know i work in musical theatre) we had Justin Lee Collins in rehearsing all afternoon. Bristol City fan so he told me. Nice enough bloke, but has a camera following him around everywhere. I'm wearing my Hammers fleece tomorrow to get it in shot!
Also ran into Sir Steve Redgrave at Heathrow the other day, he was on the same flight from Dubai as me (I'm guessing he was in the pointy end), we were both fretting as our luggage seeemed to take an age to arrive. He was wearing an exceptionally dapper blazer!

Mark King plays at the same club as me. Ranked about 15 in the world i think. Ali Carter used to play there as well.IIIronss wrote:

Was on a plane with the Teutels from American Chopper; the Dad and the youngest, Mikey, were sort of OK if a bit aloof, but Paul Jr. was the rudest, most miserable ****er I has ever seen. They all went on First Class, but all the other mechanic guys that you see on the programme were left behind to go on in Scum Class like me. Also there seemed to be no communication between the "stars" and the poor blokes that obviously do all the work for them.

I have actually met Myron T Buttram, and a more down-to-earth 'megastar of the people' you couldn't wish to meet. Totally without pretension (if with a little mascara). He let me finish the dregs of his pint and promised it did contain his backwash. Lovely man.
