Today i bumped into...

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Bumped into John Gorman on Sunday in one our favourite pubs, bit of kudos in front to the Mrs as he recognised me from playing days. Mrs asked who is that – told her he was ex-England assistant manager.

Just seen Nancy Dell’ollio at check-in in Gatwick ……… I definitely would.

Grayson Perry, rather demurely dressed in pleated skirt and jacket, on the Piccadilly line yesterday.

He's quite tall in his 3-4 inch high heels!

I saw Kelvin Mackenzie again this morning. He was walking somewhere with his headphones on. I eyeballed him from my car window, he noticed, and I gave him a big, deranged grin. He looked slightly puzzled.

Fair point.

"YOU GROTTY F*CKING SLAG!" probably would have worked just as effectively.

Most of the England Cricket team on Jolly beach in Antigua, prior to them travelling to Barbados. All were more than happy to give autographs & have pictures taken. I'd single out Johnny Bairstow, he stood talking to us for ages, making a fuss of the grandchildren.

I did the Fleet Half Marathon today and beforehand had a chat with Eric
Pollard from Emerdale and saw George Rainsford from Casualty. Just about recognised the former and had no idea who the latter was until it was pointed out to me.
