Mine are waking us up at 05:00 for food as they haven't realised the clocks have gone back. I tried to explain it to them but I do not think they got it!

true, once we ran over a squirrel (well the poor fecker ran below us, to be fair), there was nothing left to do for him... so we all took pictures holding him by the tail in our best davy crockett pose.

Delayed trains. I understand if the train's actually made a journey of sorts. But when I'm at Clapham Junction and the train started at Waterloo?

Trying to read the best before dates on some yogurt cartons ( and some milk cartons ), they are almost invisible to read.

Delays and cancellations because someone was ill on a previous train.
Get them off the train and get it on it's way. Deal with that person at the railway station

The lack of decent lookalikes in this office. We've got a few reasonable shouts - Philip Schofield, the animated BFG, and I occasionally bear a bit of a passing resemblance to Terence Stamp as General Zod in Superman 2, but outside of that, it's slim pickings.

At my old place it was a veritable clone-fest, to the point some wag hacked the intranet so if you hovered the mouse pointer over your photo, an "alt" pic of your lookalike was displayed.

There was an extremely pretty and top-heavy lass in accounts whose alt photo displayed a Newton's cradle, in homage to her pendulous bangers. By all accounts, she wasn't best pleased.

It's not always possible to move someone. It'll depend on what their condition is, for a start.

The best 'excuse' I ever heard on a train for a 20 minute delay was 'The high volume of train traffic in the London area'
What you are saying is that you didn't expect all of these trains in the area at 0800 on a Monday morning??
So if any of you are thinking of taking your trains out for a spin, please can you do it at a quieter time?

FFS!! :fsake:

Right up there with the fairly common "unexpected congestion in the Upton Park area" I heard a few times when we were still at the BG. How was it unexpected?! They'd had the fixtures for months!

It's ALWAYS possible to move them.....grab an ankle and wrist each, pick them up and dump 'em on the platform!

It is first thing we tell people and do ourselves is get them off the train, even if that means dragging them onto the platform by their ankles.

There was an asian bloke here not long ago, affable chap but bound to talk a reasonable amount of codswallop. "Trust me, we'll sort it" and that sort of thing. Given his height and stature, and the above mentioned wideboy-esque nature, someone compared him to Delboy from Only Fools & Horses.

Someone else took it further and referred to him as Delhi-boy - given his heritage - and changed his intranet photo to that of Peckham's favourite wheeler dealer.

He was not happy.

Chinese **** on Amazon.

In recent times I've bought:
1. A TIG welder
2. Inductive proximity sensors
3. An ultrasonic flow meter

It's all very well that I get my money back but, the fact that I waste hours and days on **** that just doesn't ****ing work pisses me off.

I then have to buy over-priced German and Japanese **** that does work ...... and why doesn't the US or UK make any of this stuff? There's no point in being the champion at World Wars if you don't get any benefits from winning!

Make up your mind stuboy.
I can't work out if you're form Sheffield, Liverpool or France.
Furthermore, can Sciatica play a defensive midfield role?

Windows on my computer.

Why does it think it knows better than me what I want to do?

If I have minimised a window and manoeuvre it over to one side of the screen why does it make the ****ing thing full screen?

Can I change a setting for this bitch thing?
