Well done mate. Sounds like they've already found their new homeWhitters wrote:Out walking the dog before heading off to bed tonight, but about 50 yards from the house I found a Timberland shoe box with two abandoned kittens in there. They're now spending the night in the kitchen until the local shelter opens up in the morning.
Re: Little things that irritate you
Good man, Whitters. If they're staying overnight with you, I'd advise shutting them in a fairly small room (the bathroom might be best) with plenty of newspaper on the floor!

Those adverts on the radio where they try and cram as many words of the terms and conditions into the last 5 seconds irritate me

Re: Little things that irritate you
Thanks all for the kind comments.
The two cats are now in a good friend's loving home and have been kept together, which is perfect as they were clearly very attached to each other. Our friends have two young sons, so they both have one of the cats as their pet and are over the moon.
The kittens went to the vets today and are in very good health, 3.5 months old, and have now been vaccinated and chipped. They were only with us for a day, and I'm a dog rather than cat person, but I was quite sad to see them go. They're only in the next village, so I'm sure we'll be regular visitors to see them.

TOP man, Whitters
Cats are awesome when they're not waking you up 4 hours after you finally made it to bed after a prolonged session on the red wine.

Mine are waking us up at 05:00 for food as they haven't realised the clocks have gone back. I tried to explain it to them but I do not think they got it!DasNutNock wrote:

true, once we ran over a squirrel (well the poor fecker ran below us, to be fair), there was nothing left to do for him... so we all took pictures holding him by the tail in our best davy crockett pose.Greatest Cockney Rip Off wrote:Well done mate. Delayed trains. I understand if the train's actually made a journey of sorts. But when I'm at Clapham Junction and the train started at Waterloo?

Trying to read the best before dates on some yogurt cartons ( and some milk cartons ), they are almost invisible to read.

Delays and cancellations because someone was ill on a previous train.
Get them off the train and get it on it's way. Deal with that person at the railway station
