Awful cliche, but my faith in humanity genuinely has been boosted.

I understand that, but I suspect there may be one or two heads being scratched on reading that.

Your last few posts have been too positive here, put them in the smile thread! Now go drop your phone down the toilet and come back with your troubles!

The phone is back in my possession through a combination of unbelievable luck and the kindness of strangers. Genuinely staggered to have it back. My faith in humanity and fortune is boosted significantly.

In other words some bloke tapped on your car window while you were stopped at the lights and pointed out that you had left your phone on the car roof.
Dont worry, I have also done this.

I'm just glad I'm not being mocked for losing my phone AND yesterday's result.

Left my laptop on a plane on Saturday. Only had it a couple of weeks.

It's never coming back, is it?

I am no networks expert by a long long shot , thought that SMBV1 was outdated now, Is that not what the WannaCry worm used to exploit the NHS systems?

A quick config change taking 6 hours and counting due to the incompetence of our network and security teams who operate completely independently.

Being on my own with the kids, well the eldest two anyway, for a week and knowing that I'm coming down with something today.

They're going to eat me alive.

Everyday hyperbole.

"Our holiday in marbella was absolutely amazing" - what amazed you about it?

"The food was absolutely incredible" - what part of the food made it difficult for you to believe?

"The hotel was totally and utterly out of this world" - yeah we get it.

Not a jealousy thing, just annoys me.

"I met this amazing guy..." nah, you didn't! You met some normal bloke that you fancy.
