Little things that irritate you

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Pandora shops. Or more the wife & Pandora shops. Spends ages & a fortune in the bloody places. I lose patience & wait out the front. (Even in the pi55ing rain on Oxford street as I did yesterday)
We have however reached an agreement that when she goes in one again, I'll be in the nearest pub.

i told them for £45 they might as well let me make the chili, which will be superior to anything they could buy or make themselves. They're sorting everything else, problem solved for considerably less cash than anticipated. I also got an embarrassed apology from the bloke, who knows full well how mental his wife is.

You should send them a reciprocal invoice for providing entertainment.

Or maybe a larger invoice for not providing entertainment.

I had a whole series of nosebleeds, turned out a vein in my nose was a bit dodgy. The GP cauterized it with a hot rod thing.

n.b. Should you want a hot rod stuck in an orifice, best go for the nasal option.

If she'd asked first, I'd have been happy to make & take with.
SHE sounds like a right ****.

The bloody Australian bloke on the latest Samsung S8 advert.
I have no idea who he is but, if I met him, I would kick the crap out of him.

Nope f*** all
Tuesday night went outside to have a smoke and the claret started to piss out of the left snout , soaking ones roll up I must add to the point of not being able to continue the smoke until Mrs Campo had rolled me another
one, rather pissed of at this point stemmed the flow after 20 mins and went to bed
next episode the following morning , all is well with the world , up pre 6 am as per, smoke, cup of char, post char smoke then of to the kharsi to clear and ease spings as per normal morning routine , first push and the claret starts again 2 mins worth max
then nothing for the rest of the day. I feel good , all is fine and dandy, usual SSS this morning , as I put my boots on for the half days work (on xmas piss this afternoon) two drops again from the snout
then nothing,
Get in the car with the Mrs as she is dropping me off at the station so I can get battered, and the claret now starts , and its off out of the gates on full flow, mrs heads back home to drop of the bleeding twat and promptly ****'s off to work in double time, nice,
another 20 mins dropping claret like one of those annoying dripping taps later all is right with the world, nothing since
been on the piss all afternoon and feel great

Why is realism portrayed so often as negativity

I think everybody should have a top of the range tablet
Me:So brilliant we'll spend £700 x number of staff

This was seen as negative

No it's the real world

Every Christmas Eve we've been going to this little party that one of our neighbours and her husband throw , every year we've taken 2-3 bottles of wine as a ' Thank You ' , everyone else brings a bottle or two also - in return we get a tiny little sausage and a date with creamed cheese filling and in my case a glass of orange and lemonade which I have provided - Our neighbour used to work with me at one point and she confided in me ' People are very kind , we're always left with enough wine for D... to drink for months [ her husband has a bit of a drink problem ] - Last year I had to go on my own as Jen wasn't feeling well , there were around two people I knew there and I had nothing in common with either , after 10 minutes I couldn't stand it any more so I slipped out of a side door and went home .
Won't be bothering this year .

I thought he did a reasonable job, as it goes. Got Lenny's gurn down to a tee. Physically, not in McLean's league, but wasn't a bad representation, along with Bisping as Shaw.
