That this thread has reached 1000 pages is an astonishing testament to the beautifully despondent outlook supporting this football club internalises into it's number.

My 7 year old daughter had the first of her 6 SAT exams this morning. How f*cking out of hand has the national curriculum got if they're giving young children this many exams?

I know its become mainstream these days, but I still despise it.

Seen a few different ones but the one that irked me was a huge C+P post from a friend of a friend about why people will buy Nike shoes and iPhones but won't buy stuff their friends are trying to flog them.

Obviously misunderstanding that businesses succeed when they offer a product people want, they don't succeed out of sympathy purchases from friends and family.

Spending a few days in London for my wedding anniversary.

Every time I end up in Harrods or Selfridges I end up despising the ****ing world.

14 year old Arab girls walking around with 15k handbags looking down on people selling the Big Issue, when the useless bits of skin have never done a days work in their lives.

Harrods actually makes me want to become a socialist.

Sports Direct. What a place.

I only popped in to get some sock tape, but Jesus Christ, it felt like a lot longer.

Kids running round, crying babies... No ****ing staff.

Awful.

At the 'Retail Design Expo' at Olympia today, and had to get out of the way of two women pushing pushchairs side by side round the show. Later they set themselves up in the 'Chill Area' to feed and change them.

Could you not arrange childcare for one day?

It's bad, but it's not as bad as Bicester Village, if you've ever heard of, or experienced that.

If you could get the people who work in the shops to leave, then napalmed the place, you'd have decuntified the world by a notable percentage.

I can't appreciate shopping being a trip out.

What the f*** is going on with gypsies invading every field in Brentwood at the moment?

The moving escalator is stacked to the hilt with your weekly shop yet the idiot behind you cant wait for 5 seconds before leaning all over you to reach one of the next customer boards knocking all your stuff over.
There is still no room on the escalator yet the minute it moves a centimetre they then start stacking up all their shop on the postage stamp sized bit of the escalator fallomg onto all your stuff.
grrrrrrr!!

Stop blocking up the escalator with your shopping and use the conveyor belt.

Funerals. Been to far too many in recent months. Depressing and every time it makes me realise my own mortality.

People who rush to be the first off trains and then proceed to walk slowly
People who get on trains before everyone gets off, utter , utter cretins, should be banned from public transport for a week until they learn some manners

Saw my wife coming towards me when going home last night and thought "that's nice, she's come to walk with me" when she disappeared off to the side. That's when I heard the shouting to find my daughter (all 5' of her) screaming at two strapping lads. Turns out my son was set upon by 6 older kids last night and when she heard she went tearing after them and found these two (who had nothing to do with the incident). The irritating thing was, when I spotted two kids, who were involved, hiding and went after them, my wife stopped me diving over a fence to catch them. I was so close too.

I'm not a violent man in the slightest. I'd rather walk away than get involved in a fight. But, when 6 onto one occurs and my kid is the one, then the rage builds. Not quite Hulk-esque,but enough to worry the wife

And my back hurts.
