Get in the office first thing this morning to find the Fluorescence fitting above my head flashing.
Anywhere else and it would be a five minute job, whereas in the building services department, you'll be lucky to have it sorted within the next week or so.

Most likely it's the starter, not the tube.

Whatever it was, they replaced the whole fitting with an LED panel.
