Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

The milk dispenser at Greggs.

Start pouring a little dribble of milk until you just tilt it too much drowning any possibility of a decent cup of tea.

The b*stard recycling bin men just knocked my neighbours food recycling bin over and f&cked off, leaving rotting food muck all over the pavement right near my front door.

My neighbour, an affable, if short-tempered (and massive) Yorkshireman just caught up with them. The driver and one of the other guys basically grassed up the third guy in the team, who said "You shouldn't put the food recycling bin on top of the waste recycling bin", which was denied by the other two, who then went on to say (in front of the guy who did it) to grass him to the company, and that he should be fired.

Make a complaint with the contractors, then post something in the "Little things that irritate you" thread.

Nah, I'm a righty.. not a witch!

Never considered that being a lefty potentially changed the end you opened things?

It just pisses me off that I have a 50/50 chance of getting the right end but always end up with the sodding instructions!

I also feel your pain, DP.
And just when you think you've remembered the correct end, some c*** in the chemist, changes ends..

Elmbridge, who have responded with utter contempt whenever I've reported anything to do with the refuse collection (the one visible service my council tax pays for). They broke the lid on our refuse wheelie bin a few weeks ago and refused to replace it, telling me I could buy a new one for £77. We've been here over 9 years and the bloody thing wasn't new when we moved in.

Being able to hear Steps (the **** pop group) live from my garden, despite living more than a mile away from the outdoor concert!!

I don't normally wish for bad weather, but if a hurricane could sweep through here now, I'd be grateful.

It's a nice evening and I don't want to sit inside with the windows and doors shut you talentless c****
