Are you sure they didn't say that she's, "scared off the black boy in her class"?

She scared of a boy in her class. As far as the staff are concerned it's just because he's black.
It would seem that they are the ones with a problem......but maybe that's Weybridge for you...

The issue is more that the staff are making a song and dance over something a 15 month old is scared of.

When my eldest was 15 months old he was scared of one of his rattles.

This, why does it have to be a race issue?

It's pathetic.

No wonder this country seems determined to hurl itself headlong into the 50s.
And by that i mean the 1850's.

In times of trouble it's often not a bad idea to turn the tables.
Mention to them in front of others that you are a little concerned about unexplained bruising, or similar.
They will put on their very best concerned faces( faces they will have practised over the years) and assure you that they will look into this, and take this type of thing very seriously.
Then as you walk away, act as if a thought has suddenly come into your head and say something like " hey, I don't suppose the two incidents could be related in any way could they?".
They will dismiss this out of hand, but rest assured the seeds of doubt will have been well and truly sewn.
You won't be getting any more accusations that somehow your little girl is a member of the Nazi Youth.

Send her in wearing a white cotton robe with a white hood with eye holes cut in it.

Insist that she wanted to come to nursery dressed as a ghost.

She could also take a plastic cross decorated with yellow & red crepe paper. Imagine the uproar if she took real fire to nursery.

She's fifteen months old, right? Offhand I can't think of any fifteen moth old infant who could talk well enough to explain why she was afraid of someone. Ask the staff if your daughter actually told them, or if they just made racist assumptions.

She can't talk yet. I have no idea what possessed the staff to come up with this nonsense, particularly in view of the fact my wife's the HR Manager for the nursery chain she's at.

Maybe that's why?

The member of staff in question has posted some unsavoury stuff on the net. As a concequence, the said member of staff is setting up a "Look, I'm not the only racist in the company. Just look at Mrs Dan, she teaches her 15 month old to beat up on the black boy!" card.

Or, maybe not..

I need to believe that it's just the BBC site people who are twatish and gossip-mag obsessed, and that it isn't generally representative of the public at large.

The BBC in general, once what I regarded as the world's finest media platform has turned into dross.

Half the news now is just headlines and click bait, like all media it seems, proper journalism seems dead

80% of people need treatment for x disease

Source in small print - company who make product of x disease

Just ridiculous
