Buy some decent loose leaf tea and an infuser - Darjeeling (Indian) or Yunnan (Chinese) are both extremely good black teas that are best drunk without milk, or Assam (also Indian) if you like it strong.Greatest Cockney Rip Off wrote:No milk in the fridge at work. No tea for me.
Disaster.
Sat here supping black coffee. **** me it's vile stuff. How do people drink this crap?

Black Tea is simply Tea. All the others can differentiate themselves how they want.
We ran out of milk yesterday so I was force to drink my tea sans milk. It's wrong on so many levels.

/\ disagree. Over time I've been converted to drinking tea Asian stylee without milk (though not with 6 sugars either - that is wrong). Unless I'm in a cafe having breakfast, lest I be considered a weirdo.

Tea. I don't like it or coffee! It leads to some confused looks when offered a drink at someone's house that doesn't know this. Just a squash or glass of water will do. 'Are you sure?' is then followed. 'Actually no make me a drink I don't like and won't touch wasting both the drink and your time making it!'

People who don't like tea. They can't be trusted quite simply. Most likely they're all terrorists.

They should be put on some sort of watch list.
Also those who like half a cow in their tea as well, they're complete wrong'uns too

It should be terracotta coloured.
Grey tea is the work of the devil.
I'm off to make a cuppa.

I don't drink tea, never have. Well, apart from Army tea which we were never sure what it was, but it was wet and warm.
I drink coffee, just normal everyday Nescafe Original coffee.

Good point. Tea without milk is acceptable if you are in a war zone and Dairy Crest don't deliver.Hammers Dad wrote:I don't drink tea, never have. Well, apart from Army tea which we were never sure what it was, but it was wet and warm.

Last time I was in there, I saw one of their staff (a young girl) turn round and walk straight into a pillar in the shop. I absolutely lost it laughing at her. She was not impressed.psychoscoredthelot wrote:vision express

A missed opportunity if you didn't.

Re: Little things that irritate you
Standing outside the front of my house having a ciggie, and I wave to my next door but one neighbour as they leave their house and get in their car.
They reverse off their drive, on to a fairly quiet 30 MPH road when out of nowhere coming up a slight hill and round an acute bend comes a bloke on a motorbike easily going 60-70 MPH and straight in to the side of my neighbours car. Unfortunately for the biker, it was a people carrier, and the biker hasn't fared well and was carried off in the air ambulance.
The road is now closed for accident investigation work.
The irritation part is now my neighbour has to live with that, and the bikers family and love ones will be having their lives turned upside down just because he wanted to get his adrenaline kick on a public road and think he was exempt from going anywhere near the speed limit.
I just couldn't believe the speed he came down that road, and there's every chance the way he looked and the fact the investigation team are still there 2 and a half hours after it happening, he could very well pay the ultimate price for his recklessness.
I get the 'think bike' campaign, but there really ought to be a 'bike, think' campaign too.
So very sad and unnecessary.
