Did just that - felt a bit better, so over to Runnymede for a stroll. Going to the South Bank tomorrow for another stroll and lunch in that Cuban place nearby.
People on trains getting up from their seat early and forcing their way to stand in front of the doors a good ~30 second before the train actually stops
C2C at Barking this morning. Train was absolutely jam packed, with dozens of people on the platform waiting to get on. Some people absolutely determined to get on, pushing and shoving, asking people to move down into non-existent space. I thought it was going to kick off at one point.
The train leaves, and literally 2 minutes later another one rolls in - that is almost completely empty. I strolled on and had my pick of the seats.
This should be in the things that make me smile thread really.
It bugs the bllocks off me when posts are titled with the name of the club we are playing against, e.g. "Watford Away", but the title doesn't make it clear whether the postee requires tickets or has them available. Its enough of a ball-ache struggling to get tickets for away games without having to click on every fkcuing post just to find out there's some other poor sod like me who wants tickets.
That ad for some Vauxhall soft roader (that will no doubt set all sorts of records for speed of depreciation) where two clam bashers race to the hospital to give birth. So annoyingly "woke".

It's just such a false ad, for a number of reasons:
1) It doesn't show them broken down by the side of the road, waiting for the RAC to tow them to a garage, what with it being a vauxhall and all that.
2) It doesn't show them arguing over the aircon temperature in the car.
3) They're not listening to Heart FM.
4) They don't show any footage of them driving up a narrow road towards several oncoming cars, stopping, then waving their arms and anxiously pointing at the driver they're facing, in the hope they'll all reverse out of their way, because the woman driving doesn't like reversing, despite buying a car with all available modern reversing aids.
5) It doesn't show the driver holding a starbucks in one hand, staring at the phone in her other hand, and steering with her knees.
