Interesting on the years. I still say 2000 and 18, which I suppose is just habit after saying 2 thousand and 2 thousand and 1 etc

Mine, which has most probably been mentioned is London phone numbers. The code is 020, not 0207 or 0208 etc and numbers should read 020 7555 1234 or whatever.

Also, people insisting that Romford is Essex, Bromley is Kent, Croydon is Surrey etc. They haven't been since 1965 FFS! Completely boils my piss. You are 'governed' by a London mayor, in a London borough and on the census are counted as London. Not enough clues for you?

Get ****ed.

They might have moved Romford into Greater London for administrative purposes, but it is still Essex. Not even bothered to give it a London postcode or phone number.

I run an event in Bexleyheath, even the locals seem divided over it being in London or Kent.
They have red busses but a 'DA' postcode.

I am originally a Bexleyheathan and it is Kent. It has a Dartford postcode and dialling code, however some parts have a DA postcode and London dialing code. The only bit of the borough that I consider as London is Abbey wood which actually has a London Postcode.

Where do you hold your events in Bexleyheath ?

By your logic. West Ham are an Essex club then, having moved to 'London' in the 20th century from Essex. Whether or not the post office still have you as RM8 or wherever, you ARE London. You register on no Essex radar whatsoever.

As Clacton 'ammer has said. Piss well and truly boiled. Oh and Bexkeyheath should be well and truly grateful for getting out of that Kent place !

People parking at petrol pumps, not getting fuel and then going in and doing their weekly shopping, 25 breakfast rolls, 14 teas, 12 coffees and their weekly lottery.
Then they come out and act like they did nothing wrong

Prepping the smoker for a run tomorrow, farting about for an age, cleaning, loading etc. Only for the wife to point out that rain is forecast.

Depends where you are, Das. April showers at times, all next week but 15/16° days. Week after looks dry & scorchio, woohoo!

Either, so called anti-discrimination laws (especially in the workplace) or the deluded people who believe that those laws are actually followed & respected.
It's all lip-service & ticking boxes.
If someone doesn't want to employ you because you're 'the wrong colour', too old, lbgt, disabled or anything else that there's an anti-discrimination law for, they just use another reason for which they can legally not employ you for. It's just now, they can't tell the truth. So they just 'work around' those laws.

CCTV.
If you accidentally or on purpose transgress, there'll be a camera to catch you. If someone else transgress's against you & you try to use someone else's cctv, it's either not working, there's 'no film in it' or it wasn't covering the area you were in, at the time. Or they just won't let you see it.
Cctv is only for them that own it, not for us that get filmed on it.

Apart from very rare people working in it, the entire new & used car industry.
All the way down the line from buying, insuring, servicing or any garage work.
They take the pi** out of us all. Because they can.

They can't refuse. You might have to apply, and pay a fee (no more than a tenner) but they have to allow you.

No rain today by the look of it now, bloody weathermen. Doing pulled pork in the oven. Not optimistic.

Pulled pork was a let down. Perfectly moist and fell apart easily, but had very little flavour when compared with a shoulder done on the smoker.
