Or maybe you have bad breath.

To cover their backside, use to have someone who use to email stuff to me even though I sat next to them day in day out in the same office next to them.

If people do that to me, then I make a point of responding verbally, either by phone or walking over to them. It is quite a joy to see the apprehension/nervousness on their faces when they haven’t got a written record. There is then the inevitable ‘can you confirm that in an email’, to which I respond ‘No, I think our conversation should suffice’. The smell of them crapping themselves then wafts through the air.

Not with someone sitting next to me (worked from home), but at one of my jobs, I used to confirm everything by email. Even if I'd just had a phone conversation with the person, I would follow up with an email...'as we've discussed...etc.'

Yes, I was well aware some people didn't like it but it came down to company culture. The place where I worked then had a full-on 'blame culture'. People got let go left right and centre. This meant plenty of people would definitely try to pass the buck to you if they screwed up. And it involved big systems. Email saved my job many times, so I had no problem if it put them out a bit.

People who use a public stall to have a pee and they prop the door open even when there are free urinals.

Just use a urinal or shut the door please.

HMRC owe me 160 grand for some furniture I supplied them. They should have paid six weeks ago, but a mixture of incompetence and insouciance has somehow prevented them from processing the paperwork, and now "Debbie" is on holiday and nobody else can find anything. I can't help thinking that they'd have been a bit more on the ball if I owed them some money.

****wits.

Stop and chats on supermarket checkouts. This is at a farcical level now. Chatting with checkout person whilst scanning items...fine. Checkout person stopping and chatting before commencement of scanning items, and then a further stop for chatting after customer has paid up is just not f*cking on. My whole raison d'etre is to get in and out of these bloody post modern gas chambers as quickly as possible but these stops and chats between mostly women of a certain age are denting my soul a little bit every time. And then checkout person goes from smiling with previous customer to a complete blank and rush job on me. Stop and chat, them....blank and rush job, me. Can hardly get the items in the bag quick enough. Why don't I get a stop and chat?

C*nts. Automate every f*cking checkout.
