He offered to run blood tests but I told him not to bother . Worth a try . I thought medically supervised PED use would be superior to my own hack dosing but seems the NHS are picky about who they give this stuff out to.DasNutNock wrote:Seriously? You asked your quack for T? Did he run a blood test or anything, or just look you in the eye and say “Why? Considering a career in MMA?”?

People at work using initials at work in emails, ie Steve Smith becomes SMI and because the way the system works you can't have two the same so the other will be SSM or something, so get emails with about 20 initials in sitting there for 30 minutes trying to bleeding work out who they are, just type there bleeding name for christ sake or even surname, also a nightmare for people who don't know all the staff.

Yes, especially if they have a 3 letter or 4 letter name, I don't know, such as 'c*nt'sendô wrote:^ People that sign emails off with a single initial. eg:

I don't have people signing off their e-mails in my life with a letter, if it were customers I would have to swallow it, if they worked for me, they would only do it once, tossers.

The fact that today, winter has returned. Rain all day, cold (relatively) & dark at 7pm, ffs.
I spose it is still spring, really.
Oh & as for next Sat the 19th. Two boring 'top 6' teams in the cup final & 2 rich, famous people getting married that WE are supposed to be excited about..FFS
Good time for driving. The roads will be dead quiet.

To cover their backside, use to have someone who use to email stuff to me even though I sat next to them day in day out in the same office next to them.

If people do that to me, then I make a point of responding verbally, either by phone or walking over to them. It is quite a joy to see the apprehension/nervousness on their faces when they haven’t got a written record. There is then the inevitable ‘can you confirm that in an email’, to which I respond ‘No, I think our conversation should suffice’. The smell of them crapping themselves then wafts through the air.

Not with someone sitting next to me (worked from home), but at one of my jobs, I used to confirm everything by email. Even if I'd just had a phone conversation with the person, I would follow up with an email...'as we've discussed...etc.'fmgod wrote:

Yes, I was well aware some people didn't like it but it came down to company culture. The place where I worked then had a full-on 'blame culture'. People got let go left right and centre. This meant plenty of people would definitely try to pass the buck to you if they screwed up. And it involved big systems. Email saved my job many times, so I had no problem if it put them out a bit.
