Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

What did you pay for the Philips, as a matter of interest?
I think I paid around 25 sheets for it. It was on special offer in boots around 3 years ago from what I remember (down from 50 quid). There are more advanced models which would probably be more expensive but I have absolutely no complaints about the Sonicare whatsoever. Really does do a great job.

Also, in the opinion of 1,000 linguists surveyed on the subject – the world's most difficult word to translate.

Bought 4 16oz steaks from Aldi for a fiver a pop for a Father's Day bbq Saturday.

Bought them before and 2 was enough for 4 of us but at least we get one each this time.

Gutted they didn't have the bigger 28oz steaks (8 quid each)..apparently they all sold out by 9.15!

Watching The Nile on Channel 5. More particularly, watching Bettany Hughes doing what can only be described as jiggling. A lot.
