Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Why are you smiling? Just means that 50% of road users turn into total spastics.

Just reading that.
Reminded me of one time I was joking with someone at work. In a London based Uni., was taking the pi** out of them being somewhat stupid, I actually used the term spastic.. Made 'Joey Deacon' type moves and everything.
Only to realise there were a few 'liberal' types standing behind me. We rapidly walked away and then both burst out laughing.

Edit: one of those times you had to be there.

I'm no fan of the Daily Mail but having some start up (advised by a bunch politicos and backed by media executives) as the arbiter of truth is not something that makes me smile.

My daughter saying 'hello' clearly for the first time. What made it funnier was that she was using one of those toy microphones.

Yes, but it's funny seeing them get their knickers in a twist over someone fairly innocuous calling them out for their lies.

I'd agree except that Microsoft have started shipping their browser with NewsGuard installed by default.

Driving in a bus lane yesterday, when you're allowed to, saw a bus ahead of me coming up to a stop, so indicate to move right, into the next lane to overtake the bus. Matey boy in a big-arse car who could easily let me in, in front of him, but chooses not to. The bus quickly moves off & then changes lanes, in front of said c**t, to turn right at the next set of lights, so matey boy now wants to move to the left lane, in front of me.
Oh dear, how sad, never mind..deep joy & instant karma in action..
