Little things in life that make you smile

The ever fragrant Mrs Monkeybubbles has gone away on a "walking weekend" with a "friend". Or something like that, wasn't really listening.

Fish and chips, couple of beers, Brighton v Manure on telly, music on loud. And I already have, twice, before you say the obvious.

The “all the gear, no idea” brigade cyclists on the road yesterday, particularly the ones on extremely expensive carbon racers I overtook on my entry-level specialized.

I was also yelled at by some bloke in a Citroen Picasso for some perceived infringement or another, such as riding carefully and considerately in accordance with the Highway Code. When I caught up with him at the lights and enquired whether or not he wished to further discuss his point, he refused eye contact, wound up the window and locked his door.

I do wonder why so many people give it the big un when they’re driving when they’d clearly never consider doing it in any other situation.

There's always a big queue to get off the campus when I finish work. A couple of weeks ago, a feller cut into the queue from the left hand filter lane. UNJUST!

I'm a mild mannered man usually, but I really got the hump. As we were both stuck in the queue, I jumped out in the pouring rain and hammered on his window.

"Would you ****ing do that in the ****ing queue in ****ing Sainsburys, you ****?"

He looked at me and smiled nicely and said "no, sorry". And then I felt really stupid. And wet.

Knowing that I’ve kicked the habit of reading the Transfers thread.

Same names trotted out every window as if Sullivan will spend any money.

The delusion on there is unreal.
