Sunny Friday night sat out in the garden on the deck - beer in hand and a bank holiday weekend to look forward to. Good times.

Indeed it was sir, as was the whole score, not just to this but I believe all his movies. What a genius.
Followed up with some Laurel And Hardy today... can't be depressed watching those two.

Today's little thing... mowed the lawn and cleared the hedgerows in my garden this afternoon, hot work in today's heat. Sat myself down with a well-earned and perfectly icy cold bottle of San Miguel, lovely sea breeze wafting through the garden from across the bay, and watched a family of blackbirds poking about on the freshly-mown grass, the mum and dad feeding their young some worms. Simple, blissful. :-)

Having to return indoors as it's too hot for us to sit outside with our tea at 8.30am this morning . :)

Went to the Sligachan pools yesterday looking for somewhere to cool down - honestly , we can't cope with anything over 22 degrees up here [ 26.5 yesterday ] .

It's weird how the older you get, simple things like that will make your day. When you're younger you wouldn't give a second thought to something like that.

I built a ' bird table ' out of a fence post and a bit of wood , was working perfectly fine until one of next door's hens decided she could fly up to it . I may have to open a food bank for the robins and the blackbirds .

My bosses wife, who is a complete know-all ****, with a rude and arrogant personality, reversing her car off her driveway into a parked car. The best bit of this story is she has reversing sensors AND a rear view camera fitted to her SUV!

Apparently the parked car came out of nowhere?

At least it's quite flat, and has some trees. A trait sadly lacking on most training areas...... :D

It also has a very wobbly 150ft comms tower, I was not keen on that

Was good to watch the fast air support coming in low

Playing in a football tournament over Stratford on Saturday and then having a good drink after while watching the cup final, then waking up on Sunday not feeling too bad and going over hyland spark in Hornchurch with my missus and daughter in the glorious sunshine, then back home for a nice roast and watching the spy who loved me, great bank holiday weekend
