Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Back on the bike today, after sitting in the car in traffic yesterday. I could not be more lucky to be able to commute by bike or on foot if I want, with great facilities at the office for storing my bike & work clothes, clean towels, hot showers, and even a room to air my stinking cycle clothes.
Should be mandatory for all new work places to provide facilities of that type, IMO.

Played that muppets version to my 10 month old, the other day, and she was in absolute hysterics.

Several people sat near me are now mumbling it at their desks. It's moving round the office like a virus.ageing hammer wrote:FFS DL I can't get that tune out of my head now

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
In a similar vein, a work mate came down from Leeds this week and I asked him which hotel he was staying at. He said, “the Ibis”. I asked which one as London is a bit bigger than Leeds and there is more than one Ibis. He looked a bit shocked but looked at the booking form, screwed his eyes up, furrowed his brow and tried to say something but his mouth couldn’t shape the words. Someone else grabbed the sheet from his hand, looked at it and burst out laughing and then said, “You couldn’t pronounce Shoreditch!”

Often I have walked in to the office, and the first thing out of my mouth is that tune, and for the rest of the day, I catch people humming it, and laugh at them, and get met with 'Just f*** off will you'DasNutNock wrote: Several people sat near me are now mumbling it at their desks. Being contacted by a colleague called Sukhdeep to see if I can have a word with his associate, Arshdeep.
I deserve an award for keeping a straight face during that call.

On the theme of songs you can't get out of your head, one of the blokes at work has this as his ringtone..

Literally the whole workshop end up whistling it..
