A rather attractive young lady walking through Waterloo station this afternoon pushing her bike, but flashing her lacy stocking tops with every step.

Gawd knows what she looked like riding it :D

How's this for a day off:

Up at 7, decorated the nursery.
Quick breakfast then took my daughter for a 5k run by the river.
Over to Costco to get BBQ meat and fill up on free samples.
Stroll to the pub for a pint by the river.
Home for a pizza on the BBQ and to prep tomorrow's overnight smoke.

In the same vein as the above, I was getting in my car and as I sat down I witnessed a woman, with a almost perfectly proportioned body walk in front of me clad in a black skin tight all in one, lycra/spandex catsuit. Long black hair and black patent stilettos as well. She was accompanied by a massive bloke who I assumed was her bouncer.

She was sensationally sexy and beautiful to boot.

I just watched as she walked all the way down the street, and I realised my mouth was open :)

The weather has certainly brought out a few rather lovely passengers today - made even better by the fact that although it was quite warm this afternoon - the temperature did drop a bit this evening, and it did become, erm, a bit nippy out there during the late peak hours in more ways than one. Oh hell yes indeed it did.

A family have cashed in a bet on Red Rum winning the Grand National 43 years ago - after discovering an unclaimed betting slip.

Bob Holmes found evidence of the £1 bet while going through his late father-in-law's paperwork.

Through a shop code, William Hill found that the bet had been placed at odds of 11-1, meaning a payout of £12.

But the firm decided to add inflation, making it £130. They also gave out £130 in bets and donated £130 to Water Aid.

Well played William Hill

Ah! Abinger Hammer, that used to be our Sunday football teams annual wreck a pub game.

Playing up on top of the hill if the ball went off for a throw in it went halfway down the bloody hill and the game stopped for 5 minutes while someone went and got it. If we were losing badly which was frequently we'd just boot the ball off to waste time, and the ref would end the game dead on the 90 anyway so we could all get in the pub for opening time :D

Afterwards we always piled into the Abinger Arms (no longer open) and spend so much money in the 2 hours they were open they didn't care it was like a scene from WW2

Happy days

Lovely neck of the woods for a game, I imagine, but yes - terrain's a bit wonky for it :) I've done a few bike rides round there, the older I get the more I want to move us away from the M25 and into the Surrey Hills. Maybe in a few more years when school changes will be afoot.

Today is superb .... down with family in the New Forest, near Boldre. Went for a run earlier this morning - absolutely beautiful weather, stunning scenery, all the trees and hedges just about to come into leaf and just the sound of birdsong ... wonderful.
