Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

It's so refreshing to see, and always makes me smile.

And, as this is the snug, yes, she is fit. ****ing gorgeous.
^ One of the greatest joys in life for me at the moment is taking my 2 year old on a bus. The complete and utter awe of it all, the excitement, and the fact that he will sit still and stare out of the window make it far more rewarding than ****ing through knob book.

Yep, even after someone from IT emailed to explain the error and to simply ignore the email.

Hearing a song I haven't heard for yonks, but which makes me happy and takes me to a different place and time.

I've kinda decided that I'll listen to a different CD or two that's been sat on a shelf in my house on the drive to and from work each day. It's amazing how many great songs are filed in the back of your mind that just come pouring forward the minute you hear a couple of bars, and I'm also finding stuff that never really registered first time round or which didn't appeal to the 20-30 year old me that does now.

It's a good way to get smiley.

You've got to hand it to him; sure he's carrying some timber, but, when Benteke's in this dry scoring spot, Palace need him to step up.

Hats off to the sculptor of that Mo Salah statue, made me laugh out loud on the train today. My first thought was , it`s Gollum wearing a wig modelled on Terry McDermott.
I imagine that if the sculptors distant ancestors shared his talent, then the Sphinx would look something like Sylvester from Looney Tunes.
