Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

BTW, I Am in Basingstoke, what about you?
It becomes Frog Lane later, which I always thought that name was to do with the couple of ponds on that bit of the road. Still called Rotherwick where I met them all.

We live in Bramley so not far depending where you live in Basingstoke.

Getting a £150 refund from my ISP, because BT "incorrectly" charged them (and thus they incorrectly charged me) for a BT engineer who came and looked at my home set up and could find nothing wrong - and then discovered the problem was a cable in the street.

Putting a couple of birdfeeders in the tree in the front garden outside my home office window and seeing 20 Goldfinches queuing up in the tree to fill their boots, plus the Pigeons and Doves underneath hoovering up the scraps.

Without the Colonel's secret recipe of guilt, remorse and the vivification of flirting with a massive coronary incident, chicken is just food.

Plain flour, mixed with turmeric, salt, pepper, and a few dried herbs, in a plastic bag. Add some sliced chicken breasts that have been soaked in milk or buttermilk and coat. Fry in hot oil for a few minutes, then finish in a hot oven on a wire rack (so the grease drips off). Serve with potato wedges and home made coleslaw. F*cking YUM.

KFC is life.

I haven't had one in a good 6 weeks - I must look at this.

Who was it on here that recommended crushed/ground Heatwave Doritos as a fried chicken coating?
I am still yet to try it, but it sounds ****ing genius.

Sounds disgusting, only a right c*nt would try something like that.

In an unrelated matter, does anyone know where I can buy some Heatwave Doritos?
