Love the seal one
Belfast, the Irish, Irish girls. Spent the last two nights in Belfast on business, love the place, the city, the people, and if I was single I would move to Ireland as the ladies are incredibly friendly. Would recommend the place to anyone.

The little chap on the left.
He starts to slide.
Then says to himself........."I've started sliding here, I better go with it".....

Whilst doing my normal Next > Next > Next thing on the radio this morning, I passed Classic FM, only to discover they were playing the John Williams Superman theme. Arrived at the office, just as it finished, and it's been running through my head all day. Makes even trips to make a coffee or drop my guts feel that much more heroic and purposeful.

^ The Kenny Ken old school jungle remix at Renegades, Toronto '98 with Stevie Hyper D on the mic is better.
I've got that on my iTunes and will be listening to it one the way home now.

I'm about to limp slowly to the Vaults (a serious old style boozer) where I intend to drink local cider in large quantities interspersed with the occasional Jamesons.........happy ,happy days.

I meant on the radio.
But yes, that broadly described my job.

Watching an autistic lad in our class get up in front of all the kids and chant 'tumbly' to which the others reply 'boo's' and seeing the joy in his face at them responding to him. Also, their response to him. Two smiles for the price of one.

Hope the Bookmakers gave him a reward of some kind and I'm not talking any crappy ' free bets ' - the younger fella only starts fighting back when the Old Fella gets stuck in , he gives the young worker the courage to fight back , bless him .
The young thugs didn't seem to take the job seriously as they had hammers on them but at no time do they intend to use them , the Old Fella doesn't know this though which makes him a very brave man indeed .
Did you hear anything further , Eamonn ?

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
When we bought this house, the mortgage provider asked (about 2 days before we were due to complete) if we had building insurance on the place we were buying. Having not realised was a requirement of the mortgage agreement, they sold us their building & contents policy which was bundled into the package and forgotten about.delbert wrote:Sorting out my house insurance renewal and saving £55 a month !!!

Until about 6 months later when I lost my wedding ring, and I tried to make a claim, only to be told we weren’t covered for anything outside the house. I checked the policy details and it was costing us over a hundred quid a month. Bought a new policy for about a tenth of that price that included all sorts of extras and would have paid out for the lost ring.

School boy error, you should have had a safe place to put it on your night out with the boys.

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Had it sized on a really hot day when my hands were all swollen. Cue the following winter, it was patently far too big for me and I was due to get it resized before it fell off my hand and fell in the Wey.
Still p*ssed off about that. 25 years of holding contents insurance and never once making a claim, then being turned down because my horrendously overpriced policy didn't cover it.
