She didn't bother with the salad but she had a starter, main and dessert. Finished the lot and is in great shape so thumbs up all round :scarfer:

A Crystal Palace fan tweeting this....
For me, anything under £70m is simply too little to even come close to adequately replace Zaha.

I don't think any observer from outside the Palace bubble can fully understand how important he is to our game. h

A mate of mine has had a tough time of it recently, but he's just been offered a job that he really wanted. He's a lovely bloke who's had a lot of crap thrown at him in the last year or so and I'm chuffed for him.

Boater manages to accidentally drain canal

Image
..................................

A boater accidentally drained a stretch of the Kennet and Avon Canal after leaving all the lock gates open.

A section of the waterway was left with hardly any water on Tuesday near the Barge Inn in Seend, Wiltshire.

A spokesperson for the Canal and River Trust confirmed what happened was not malicious but that the boater was "rushing and left the paddles up".

The lock paddles "work like a plug on a bath in allowing water in and out of the locks," he explained.

Good for him! Sure having a pal like yourself helped him through the bad times.

Getting myself a new job which will involve going to cities in Europe I've never been to, always wanted to go to, and being paid for the privilege, as well as working with PL and League football clubs, and corporate.

A new beginning awaits!

What I failed to mention is it took me 7 minutes from my driveway to the depot where I will be based and had my interview. Around 2.5k a year on fuel saved plus 18k miles less on the car each year. 8-)
