I know I'm looking at it in black and white, but it does make me smile that all you're buying is an expensive mongrel. Get yourselves down to a dogs home or local rescue centre and get a real "bitsa" for a fraction of the price.
This x1000.

My missus had a blazing row with someone on Facebook trying to offload Jack Russell / Poodle crosses for £600 a piece. The scumbags are just in it for the money and make me sick. As you rightly say, get a rescue dog, give a dog a second chance.

Nipped into the pub on the way home last night.

Bought a pint and then moved around to watch the football. Spurs were winning 1-0. There was a group of blokes gathered around the tele watching.

A few minutes later Juve score. A slight grin from me as I sup my pint.

A couple more minutes on and Juve score again. Cue big involuntary laugh from me, the pub falling deadly silent and all eyes turning to see the source of the noise.

Years ago I'd probably have got a kicking.

Being called an "Imperialist Custard" by a Spanish colleague. No, I don't understand it either, but it tickled me. We were talking about wine.

Waiting for a mate at a certain East London train station today, only to see an ex GF from a long time ago out the corner of my eye, walking into the station. She didn't clock me, but bloody hell I clocked her. She's dyed her hair black, had it cut in a short 1930's style and was wearing all black baggy shorts, thick woolly tights and T shirt with matching black wheelie luggage thing. She's really plumped out and pummelled on the poundage, was white as a pint of milk and looked like a failed, washed out goth apologist who'd taken up raving with an 1990's fashion sense.

Really made me smile.

Tenants in the bird box :scarfer:

A pair of great tits have been in and out all morning, with assorted bits of nest material in their beaks.

For god's sake man get her out the bird box and into the bedroom. It's not every day a great pair of tits just turn up.

I really cannot stand Birra Moretti. It has a kind of smoky burnt taste which I really don't like. Is that Siciliana any better than the stuff you get in the supermarket.

When a random tune off a tv or radio show morphs in my head into something good. Recent examples:

The travel news music from BBC Five Live -> Fields of the Nephilim - Psychonaut
Let's Investigate Now from Noddy, Toyland Detective -> Jesus & Mary Chain - My Little Underground
Theme from PAW Patrol -> The The - This Is The Day
