Taking a speed awareness course (Got nicked for doing 38mph in a 30 back in November) only to find that one of the guys taking the course was in fact my driving instructor from when I learned to drive in 1996.

He didnt remember me, but I did remind him. :)

Ahh the irony.

I'm walking around the living room eating a custard cream.

I'm trying to break off the top section with my teeth..........so to reveal the creamy bit in one section and the biscuit section in the other.

Then, I manage to drop the cream section on the floor...(damn it !!!)

And my dog, as sharp as a tack, and who is following me around waiting for this exact opportunity to develop, gobbles it up with absolutely no regard for my feelings at all.

That is so childish......but it is the only way to eat custard creams and bourbons. Also, the only way to eat jaffa cakes is nibble the outside, then the bottom leaving just the orangey goodness for after.

Interesting style...Image

I do nibble the outer edges first off......but don't proceed to the bottom.

The resurrection of the Celebrity Rhyming TV thread ... keeps me chuckling for ages and totally halts any productivity as I am thinking of unlikely shows.

Reminded by the manual v auto thread.

I was out with a group of friends friday night (all the men in their fifties) and the conversation shifted to cars. One of them got rid of his Subaru last year and bought a Kia Ceed diesel, kept on about reliability, warranty and mpg. Another has got rid of his Audi TT and bought some Suzuki Diesel, again going on about the mpg.

I had spent an hour or two on the web looking at cars and considering whether to replace my MG TF, looked at MGB roadsters, MGA, several TVRs and very tempted by a Lotus Elise. Apparently they are out of their mid-life crisis and I'm still in the middle of mine. 8-)

Went in to KFC on my break today. There was a woman in front of me that was the size of a house that ordered a bargain bucket, then turned to her equally huge partner, that had mini-me fat kids with him and said to him 'and what are you having?'
