Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Even extremely good looking women need partners and what better way to find the man or woman of their dreams than to advertise themselves on a Football Forum , after all , it's where all the good looking men / women hang out .
What I'd like to know is - when an advert asking me if I'd like to meet an older woman in my area why does she look younger than me and why haven't I seen her out in my area before today ?

That's because she's stuck in her bedroom shagging all your younger neighbours
There's advise out there that half a glass of wine here and there does no harm at all. A bottle of vodka might be a different matter.
It matters what stage of development too.
How many mothers have got pregnant but not realised for several weeks and carried on drinking heavily? And how many of those children are born with disabilities as a result?

It's one if the reasons I enquired to be honest. I met a woman the other day that had 8 weeks left, and was smoking and yet explicitly stated she wouldn't touch a drop of booze.

My mum smoke and drank heavily whilst pregnant with me, yet my probation officer reckons I'm the nicest, 4' 10" asthmatic psychopath, he's ever worked with.

Rather odd IMO.
Its justification and lessens the guilt.
Being really good and giving up the booze justifies the reward for her of smoking.
Its quite bonkers but equally quite common.

My 2 year old dropped one the other day that was the size of my fist, and I wondered how the f*** he had managed it. I'd have been proud to drop that myself.

They can also move the cameras around to prevent people from memorising the locations.
Why do we bother with speed cameras on motorways, and not just have a decent resolution traffic camera on every gantry that can better detect people driving like arseholes and causing accidents?
