Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

My question is, where did the next generation come from?
I know this.
The family all lived in a small village just outside Norwich. The three boys were all slinging one into Eve when Adam went out, so thats where the next generation came from.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the response on a Deputy Dawg YouTube clip where someone is questioning as unrealistic, the rate of fire from a rifle that ‘ol Dep is firing:
Q. Why are there so many bullets being fired from the riffle?
A. How come a dog can talk, wear clothes and act as a sheriff's deputy? Don't ask silly questions, it's not real, it's made up.
So, mates boy (11) parents are religious to a point, so he believes in the big dawg upstairs, he asked me "so, heaven, will it be full of really boring good people and vets?" - vet was in there I think as a vet saved their cat a month or so back and he kept saying thank you to the vet apparently, but that's me assuming.
Which got me thinking, to our religious members, how do you define/view heaven?

Watching football in N.17 in a finished stadium...
Why can't we decimalise time? 10 hours in day, 100 minutes in a hour etc? We could extend it to include some elements of the calender, have 10 days in a week so we only have 36 Monday mornings.........

Why did 'psychic' Sally Morgan get the name of the first person to leave the 'celebrity' big brother house, wrong?
Why did she predict that she would finish 3rd, when she ended up finishing fifth?
Why didn't she know who was going to win?
I realise that they may be rhetorical questions..
The phrase 'as sweet as a nut' - what's that about? As far as I know, nuts are oily and taste like polystyrene, but aren't sweet. Am I missing something?
