If Bruce Forsyth is alive when Jools Holland's next Hootenanny is on, I'll be amazed.

Can I throw Denis Norden in?

Not a man or band who mean anything to me, but will be added to the next sporadic update. Butch Trucks is a pretty cool name for a Southern Rock band member, though.

He is, on two votes.

Yeah, why not? I don't mind adding extra names so long as they haven't been in the news as suffering from bad health.
WoodfordJnr wrote:Kirk Douglas is 100 years old for god sake.. surely that aint allowed

He's the fourth most popular on seven votes before Ballantine. Doesn't mean he's more likely to go than a drug-addled pop star or someone with an undiagnosed heart problem.

Kirk Douglas and Olivia de Haviland are already 100 years old and East Ham's very own Vera Lynn turns 100 next month. Paul Gascoigne doesn't even turn 50 until May and yet he has more votes than any of these centurions. A sad indictment on the life of someone who was without doubt, one of the most gifted footballers I've seen.

She's releasing a new album to celebrate her birthday. Some kind of drum n bass affair, I believe.
