Ok, by my reckoning, we have 31 entries, and a massive 87 celebrities to watch out for in 2017. Being a sad accountant, I have done a spreadsheet to list all the entries so we can keep track; I have taken the first five names listed by each entrant, excluding anyone who isn't a public figure (e.g. fellow KUMB members) or any non-specific answers. Over the next few days I will trawl Wikipedia to find out how old all these people are (and in some cases, who they are), but in the meantime the full list, in order of number of votes, looks like this:

Done. Now up to 32 entries and 89 names with Arnie and Pele added to the list.

Any other last minute changes allowed up to 8 January, provided they can't be shown to be based on information about the deteriorating health of individuals (e.g. Charlie Manson), then we are fixed for the year.

Rocketron - agreed with Hawaiian, I think the MASH actor is the nearest we have to a celebrity in 2017 so far.

The MASH actor is quoted in Wikipedia as having died on 31 December, so the only announced 'celebrity' deaths to date in 2017 are former President Rafsanjani of Iran, and Peter Sarstedt, one-hit wonder with Where Do You Go To (My Lovely). Unsurprisingly, no-one picked either of them.

2017 is off to a slow start compared to its predecessor...

You've missed the Indian actor. Name escapes me right now. Played the Dad in East is East.

Edit - Om Puri.

John Jacobs, the founding father of the European Tour and twice Ryder Cup captain, has died aged 91.

I have a copy of his book Practical Golf, he was one of the finest coaches in the game.

RIP.

She didn't move far either - living on Upney Lane, Barking. The same road where Bobby Moore, Trevor Brooking and me were born.

Yeh, that's it.
Been in the news quite a lot last year due to his poor health.
Have the # 10 Santos shirt signed by him addressed to me in my gym.
