Will never understand why some non-irish celebrate this event. Some even celebrate it more than they do St George's Day!

Mates have belled me and they're off down the pub all afternoon...why?! Just an excuse to get pished surely?

Missus' workmates are heading out tonight for St Patrick's Day

They're a good bunch so I'll be going along for 'Friday' and will be drinking Spitfire and Bombardier, getting pissed and quoting William Blake.

Anyone comes near me with a hat or pisswatered Guinness will be politely told to Poppycock Off

I usually avoid the pub altogether today, overcrowded, you open the door to go in and ten people fall out. :D

I don't need any excuse to get pissed, but it always helps to have a theme.
