I spent all last year saying I was 38 (I was 37 until October) and now my wife has spent this year telling everyone I am turning 40.

My ex has done this so many times that our standard answer if she has lost something is "have you looked in the fridge and freezer?" She started doing it in her thirties as far as I recall.

I'm still waiting for someone to wake Davids Cross up from his afternoon nap so he can reply. Image

In my ex-wife's case, she is watching the tv and fancies a snack. So she wanders off to the kitchen still carrying the remote, puts the remote down in the fridge whilst looking for the snack, closes the door and wanders back to the tv. I've watched the dopey mare do it a couple of times Image

Then you must have known Noel Redding, a great great guy, he used to live in Clonakilty not far from Cork. :)

We only met him the once, we were the support act at Grays Civic Hall, weirdly my brother and sister in law have just retired to Kenmare where Noel was well known and loved too.

I have been living off that bit of fortune for fifty years!

There's a legendary bar in Clonakilty called De Barras where Noel was a regular.

If you are ever there drop in and see the stuff they have on the walls, it's better than any museum. :)
