The Mental Health Thread - (Help Contacts in First Post).

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Incredible post, sounds like you have some support in place to assist you through this period.

If you aren't aware, or there are other people that have experienced anything similar then you do have the following charities as a contact for support and advice.

http://thesurvivorstrust.org/national-helplines/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
https://www.nspcc.org.uk/preventing-abu ... ent-abuse/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good luck with everything, I hope you find closure in the near future.

Has anyone had any contact with ELH?

Westcliff,

Wow, just wow. Well done. I can't even begin to imagine how hard that was for you. Let's hope the bastards involved get a very long time in jail and you can get some sort of inner peace and closure.

Genuinely awe-inspiring stuff Westcliffspur. It's a term bandied about way too often these days - "That chicken burger was awesome", "That TV show was awesome" - but you're the real deal. No hyperbole.

This, my heart goes out to you Westcliffspur, what you have suffered no one should ever have to go through.
The world can be such a horrible and cruel place but you found a safe place and trust on here. This site and particularly this thread shows that there are decent people, amazing people on here who really really care.
I hope that justice is served and these unimaginable b@stads get long sentences.

You are an incredibly brave man to do what you are doing and I hope you can get through this. :)

Once again, many thanks to the goid people of KUMB. You reached out to a stranger and your comments have meant so much. It just shows there are many decent people out there and KUMB has more than its fair share. Most of us get rubbish thrown at us sometime in our lives. I have dipped into this whole thread at times and the support for other people has been top notch. Thank you.

I know it's nothing on Westcliffs post but got the results back from the clinic and received the all clear. So relived right now I can't properly express in words. Have stopped the affair and just concentrating on females who don't have a husband (or who are a massive psycho/my boss)

Lesson learnt

This thread is heartbreaking but also great to see people talking about these issues.

I recently became an ambassador for these guys: https://www.great-men.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

One of the aims is to get young males to be more okay with opening up about their feelings at a young age and if you think it might be for you, I'd really recommend getting involved.
