JHTFC - only you lot could turn a light-hearted discussion on the pros & cons of beans in a full English fry-up into something more depressing than EastEnders.

Beans (and they must be Rex beans) are best served hot with Ann-Margret.

Never without beans. God I miss baked beans when I'm out the country for too long. And proper bacon.

Need a fried egg, toast, hash brown preferably, mushrooms. Most controversially, I could take or leave the sausage, never seems great. Black pudding is a welcome extra. Cup of tea, unless I'm hungover, then it's a coca-cola.

And never chips. Northeners are an absolute disgrace to include them as standard.

Down sea life in Southend yesterday

Tried their "all day breakfast" apparently called all day because u won't be hungry again that day.. what a load of false adveristement

£8.50 for 2 bacon (unsmoked boo) 2 sausages , tomatoes , 2 fried slice 2 eggs mushrooms and 2 hash browns oh and beans

Awful tbh. No tea with it for one
Bacon was flavourless
Hash browns were Mank
Bread was so oily more oil than bread

Eggs over done
Beans in a bowl tho

Can't say the oil agreed with me either lol

Wouldn't go back

What did you expect from a SeaLife Centre(?)?

Could have taken a 10min walk down the Arches and got something much better.
Or just popped across the road to Baileys who are still banging out the best Fish n Chips around

Not at breakfast time...obvs, but chips are de rigueur with the evening fry up we often partake of, chez nous.

Oooooo she says, bit of northern culture there.

An evening fry-up you say. I think I'd load on some potato based extra too, with beans an absolute must post-18:00.

Evening fry up with fried potatoes is perfectly acceptable. Tinned spaghetti hoops too. Must be drained with most of the sugary **** drained off.
