The best things in life

Kind of a companion piece to 'Little things that make you smile".

What are the things that really make life worth living? The absolute top end, diamond crusted belters?

Me first: boobies.

Love my garden, living in the countryside, train journeys to the smoke, getting away for a holiday, every single bit of the UK's seasons, few beers with good mates, dinner out with the Doris.....i could go on and on.

Not much beats enjoying beers in the sun, be that here or abroad!

The nice baked feeling, after having a joint or two!

Coming home and being greeted by our dog, never get tired of that.

Plenty mentioned already that I'd agree with ...Beer, art, the countryside, seasons and of course 80081E5.

I'd add TMS and a smile - both giving and receiving ....

Those fleeting, few weeks when a woman thinks you're the absolute cat's pajamas.

Alternatively, if you have daughters, the time when they're between the ages of three and about twelve when they think you're the cat's pajamas.

If you happen to be a cyclist (but, I'm sure other sports have their own equivalent) 'no chain' days i.e. days when you're absolutely flying but it just feels easy.

So in the words of Frank Zappa, it sounds like tits and beer are the order of the day then ...

Dropping one as you step off of the tube.
Sitting in the garden in the sun on a warm day doing nothing.
Making the kids laugh
Tits and fanny.
Alcohol and hard drugs.

In no particular order of course.

Those moments where you manage an absolute piece of brilliance that you would struggle to repeat.

Helping my oldest improve her shooting for netball at the weekend, the ball had rolled a decent distance from the hoop, maybe 15 yards. I walked over picked it up, and without aiming threw it over my head.

Didn't even touch the ring, let alone the backboard. Perfect plop into the net.

Wouldn't do it again in a hundred goes.

You can't beat those moments.

Getting an image of these activities taking place in conjunction. You'd get slung out of The Tate for sure.
