I got some insurance for my cat because of the Pet Insurance thread. Does that count?

She would sing our love to the moon, paint our love in the stars, and make me a bacon sarnie in each of the flats.

She's got a funny nose , choose someone else [ is my advice ] .

What about that Scottish singer , the one that lost X Factor , she'd be grateful for a block of flats , Susan something ?

Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe will always be the one track that reminds me of B&B

Easily remains the best animation ever.

Absolutely, and thanks to seeing that on B&B I found a terrific band in Whale. Well, a terrific few singles and couple of albums before they jacked it in, anyway.

Also just remembered that I got into Primus and wound up buying maybe four or five albums off the back of seeing My Name is Mud and (I think) Wynona's Big Brown Beaver on B&B. No YouTube or Spotify back then meant that shows like B&B were invaluable for finding something I mightn't have otherwise. The New Music, a Canadian music show which often aired alongside Beavis & Butthead (and comedy sketch show The Kids in the Hall) was pretty good for hearing new music (!) too.

And yes indeed, it was also a ****ing funny programme as well as being a wickedly eclectic music show. The only animated sitcom to hit that level imho was King of the Hill, also by Mike Judge of course (in fact tbh I thought KotH was even better).

A combination of impatience and comedy pricing from tradesmen has made me buy lots of things.

E.g. I needed a bit of welding done on a fence. Nobody I called would even come around and look at it for a week .... so I bought a MIG welder on Amazon and did it myself.

Another clown wanted four grand to replace the concrete floor in my garage. A hundred bucks for a dumpster, three hundred for a demolition hammer, four hundred for materials and a weekend's hard graft saved me three grand. Haven't needed the demolition hammer since ....

OK , this is getting silly , re-watching the first episode of ' The Night Of ' with my Daughter last night and I hear another Mazzy Star song in the background , this time ' Into Dust ' off their ' So Tonight That I Might See ' album - that girl really has a beautiful singing voice .

Mazzy Star - Fade Into You

Actually, KUMB is a "Stuff That Made Me Buy Stuff". I'd never heard of Oz (the HBO prison drama) until I had it recommended to me on here. Same goes for 13 (Tzameti) (foreign thriller). There are bound to be several other recommendations from you gentlemen which I ended up purchasing.
